AN161 Forks at Aircraft Spruce: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalo...clickkey=48532
-28 threads seem to be 1/4 inch diameter.
Hope that helps

Re: Turnbuckles
I Know I'm a young one, and have only been working on airplanes 35 years. I don't ever recall seeing a aviation turnbuckle with a 12-28 thread, especially on a Taylorcraft. I looked in my ECAS catalog and they don't list any turnbuckle parts that are 12-28 either. All of the original turnbuckles for 1/8" cable that I have seen on a Taylorcraft were 10-32 thread.
On the end of the cable is there a 5 tuck splice, or does it have a Nicopress sleeve?Last edited by 3Dreaming; 01-17-2016, 09:35.

Re: Turnbuckles
I have some TB parts that are .189" (approx.) , .201" (approx.) and .24" (approx) which would make me speculate that they were #10, #12 and #14 screws.
The one I speculate is #12 seems a bit small for a #12.
Pitch is probably 28 but I did not check, they did not match a an4 pitch.
Rex what o.d. is yours?
I have eyes bot no forks.
