Ha, that's what I saw also Marty. I guess we'll have to slow the shutter speed down and go try again next year! Nice pics everyone. The Oahu pictures Tim posted are stunners!

Re: Best of 2015 Taylorcraft photos

Here is a photo I snapped with my phone as we were starting out day # 2 of our trip from Central Texas to Antique Airfield Blakesburg IA for the annual Antique Airplane Association fly-in back in September. My wife, Leann and I had an enjoyable time in our Taylorcraft, escorting Dave Mars who flew the Curtiss Robin "St. Louis Robin" for all 24 hours of the trip. Here we were fueling up at Parsons Tri-City Airport in Parson's KS after a wonderful overnight stay. The weather was gorgeous that day.

Here is another photo taken by Local Airport historian, Cris Leonard, of my wife, Leann and I landing N95598 at Parsons Tri-City airport just before sunset on the evening of September 1, 2015.

I quite like that last one, Terry. Subtle from the Taylorcraft perspective, and it shows a different angle of what Taylorcraft enthusiasm can engender.

Not sure why it is upside down. Maybe that means something...

This is probably a stupid question, but in the first picture, what is the silver device on the floorboard in front of the pilot rudder pedals? Thanks, Darrin

That's Scott master cylinders/brake peddles. Chuck got approval for grove brakes using the cub type master cyl/peddles.

Actually Ryan has a good picture there: 8 Taylorcraft pilots at Oshkosh.
