  • unidentified taper-shaft prop hub...any ID's?

    Hello all,

While digging through my parts stash for an A-75 hub in better shape than the buggered one that was on the aeroplane I came across this hub. It came to me with a bunch of Continental and T-craft stuff. For some reason I was thinking it came off an old Ranger. Missing one prop bolt and no hub nut found as of yet, but the thread diameter measures 2" so that kinda rules out an A-65, ha ha.

Here's a pic or two...I should know what it is but am having a debilitated grey-matter moment. Anybody have a positive ident on this?

    Thanks much

Its for a Leblond or Ken Royce. Wanna sell it?

        Mike,

Hmmm....a Leblond/Ken-Royce eh? Been a long time since I was close to a Rearwin...wouldn't have guessed that one. I need to check with a semi-local museum to see if they have a need but otherwise would likely part with it. Kinda doubtful I'll be converting the "T" to a Leblond. Wouldn't mind putting a 100hp Rotec on her though :-).

        Tim,

Thanks...I found one that looks pretty good in my pile. My brother might need one though. I'll find out and let you know.

        Thanks again
