    Back to L2 Manuals:
I'm fairly sure* that the TCDS for the L2 (A-746) is owned by other than the Taylorcraft Foundation, so one might argue that a manual of this type might be their property?

First few pages of that manual describe it as a US govt. property.

I am confident that it is no more than an outdated government publication.

p.s. just realized that Tom already said this, so amen to what Tom said

Open source does not also follow the same copyright laws, especially with defunct companies as current organizations or things like music downloads. Tim

Now I have no issue with that at all but we do need to have just one story and then act based on that singe story.

Perhaps we need to communicate better who / what controls the site.

I had suggested this (see red text above) earlier in response to Rob's comment => "The issue here is the Taylorcraft Foundation: This is their site, and although of charitable status, they could be found liable for openly publishing the intellectual property of others."

            Is that unreasonable?

            Dave

p.s. Bob if it is unreasonable then just ignore the suggestion. I have no dog in this hunt. Dave
