getting parts to repair or rebuild their own rudders? I am looking at getting ribs, spars and other items made (ie. punched out and bent to build/repair rudders. Would there be any takers if I take on a project like this? Tim

I would like a pre war rudder that had the post war two hinge set up to hook to a post war fin.

The pre war rudder regardless of hinges is to short to match a post war fin. I think the rudder is about 5" shorter.

Swick did that with the clip wing STC. If you know someone who is creative with paperwork you might be able to do just that part of the Swick modification.
