Lets say I want to fly over the Mountains here in Calif. at maybe 12K feet or so in the winter. What kind of help/temperature should I expect from the Luscombe setup? I have owned 3 Taylorcrafts and never checked or used the heater function in any of them.

Talking about cabin heat.....I'm looking for a B-A693, (Shut-off Assy --Cabin Heater), according to Taylorcraft parts manual, that fits on the
stock T/craft BC12-D . which fits on the very bottom of the engine side of the firewall.

You may have to build one if you cant find one from the tribe....not hard, just time consuming. Tim

I think I have one laying around here, but it belongs to my dad. I'll have to see what he wants for it.
