  • I'm back.

Sorry guys, never meant to go on a one year hiatus from the board. Had to deal with a few life challenges and then just got busy with work, always telling myself I needed to get back here. I look forward to getting back to contributing to the board. Special thanks to M Towsley for checking in on me.

I'm glad to "see" you back too, your expertise with tcrafts is very helpful.
I see you are Washington OK. I flew my tcraft right over you when I took it to Norman,OK in May.

I have noticed since I have been snooping around, the site is not near as active as what is was a year ago. Any reasons to that i may have missed?

Well, we lost a couple of people, Dick Huish passed away and Forrest has been pretty much MIA on the forum for quite some time. I think a couple of folks moved on from Taylorcraft airplanes, too. I noticed Mike Horowitz has been back of late and we have some new folks who may be lurking.
            Cheers,
            Marty

I did not know Dick had passed. They posted like I do, answering other peoples questions. I just don't see the questions being asked.

I'm sorry, I was not aware that Dick had passed away. We never met in real life, but I'll raise a glass this evening.

Edit: He was Taylorcraft Foundation number 10.

I still have my Taylorcraft, I just have been so busy with finishing our house, still another year to two will be needed to finish it, and the three hangers, plus I had my Gallbladder removed in January of 2013. Add to that the Ultralights that I'm building, and at the end of the day, I just had dinner, and collapsed into bed many times. Brie
