    Didn't intend for it to sound condescending (hard to get those kinds of things across in writing). I get a lot of calls from people who think we have a functioning and helpful 'factory" available. Sometimes their site shows up, but it is kind of a case of the wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead.

    The Foundation is pretty inactive. Forrest is available sometimes, and his sage advice is fantastic when available, but he is not paid and actually does have a life outside of Taylorcrafts. For information on our planes this site is your best bet along with the Face Book Taylorcraft page.

    Just be patient with our responses. I have found almost NO snarky people on either site. If a response comes off that way, you can bet it was weak writing skills, not meanness.

      Do not remember the steel. But all-thread on to a machined head with the two silver soldered together.
