  • Drawings from Essco

This is the BC12D drawings package I received from Essco Aircraft. It consists of 11 drawings as follows:
    Tailwheel
Main tank (two drawings of different magnification, appear to be the same drawing)
    Fuselage
    Controls
    Engine mount
    Engine Cowling
    Instrument panel
    Tail feathers
Wing (2 versions of the same drawing. Between the two most text is readable)

These are basically larger versions of what you've seen in the various service manual copies. Text, part numbers appear to be mostly readable based on my preliminary scan.

As I said in my previous post, worth the $15 plus shipping imo

I reduced the resolution to the point where the detail is not readable for the purposes of posting this information

    Re: Drawings from Essco

That gives me a couple to stop work on and several to not start. I will be doing one of the pre-war panel (picture of #7 is the post war). I have all of the scratch sheets done for the 41 Deluxe including the shock mount instrument support panel) and most of what is needed for the 40 (big tach and round wheel version).

I went to their site in the Taylorcraft section ( http://www.esscoaircraft.com/c-10079-taylorcraft.aspx ) but didn't see the drawing set. Do you have a link?

Can you post the "package number" you ordered and ordering information?

yes it's identified as BC12D Schematics
          product code 6048
I ordered by phone because I wanted to ask about the quality of the copies. The rep was helpful

I see the problem. They refer to it as a "manual" and that threw me off. Should have been listed as "Drawings".

I downloaded for $15 the pdf version. It is, in my opinion the best, as you can blow up your pdf images and the text is very readable compared to the pages in the manuals.
