    Looking for a fuel tank cap for the wing tank anyone got any suggestions.

      Thanks for finding that, Blake. As our forum gets more and more information it is more and more difficult to search for specific things.

      Oh, and due to the potential liability I chose not to make new caps. They are relatively simple to modify and the company who originally made the cap is still in business.

            Ray,

            Used ones come up for sale, now and then. Somewhat rare. Hopefully someone will step up with one.

            The company who made the original caps is still in business, It was Taylorcraft who modified them with the tube, wire and tabs.

                Use the Luscombe caps, they get above the boundry layer air and provide more pressure, atlee also has similar caps. Tim

                  Lebow eaton has been bought out and no longer makes the 1126 or the 1768, just FYI
