      Re: Fuel valves

Parts were shipped out by my supplier, I had to buy some new custom tooling since I did a minor design change. I always seem to be striving for perfection. The new valves will be easier for me to build because of a few refinements. I will take pictures and keep you posted. Tim

The handles are punched, I have some homework to get done this weekend then I will start making the pins and brazing them into the handles. Tim

              Re: Fuel valves

I got about half of the handles made this weekend, I had to order more material for the pins. The updates to the design that I did also required me to change my tooling some today but if I get the material, I can get the rest brazed up and then its out to plating. tim

Well I finished brazing and drilling, now off to the plating shop tomorrow. I just had sinus and throat surgery on Friday so I will try to get some out when they get back from plating. Tim

                      Re: Fuel valves

Valves went to the plating shop today, should be back in a week.

So I just had sinus surgery and a tonsillectomy on Friday and I just dropped my wife off at the hospital to get a pancreas transplant this evening..... So time is going to be tight for the next week or 2, but For those of you who want valves, I will be contacting you to get what engine/fuel tank you have because there are 2 different sizes.

I am sorry it has taken so long but I hope everyone is happy with the improvements that I did. Tim

How're you and your wife doing? Sounds like you've more than got your plate full!! I went through the sinus surgery...not much fun. I finally went to an accupuncturist and got straightened out after a couple more years.

                            Re: Fuel valves

Well my wife came home for 1 day and back to the hospital because her blood sugars are not under control. She is double what she should be, it looks like they are adjusting her medication to get it under control. I have everything that I need to finish 17 valves initially. I have 4 valves for the large tank elbow and 13 for the standard tank elbow. So I am planning on getting them done and boxed this weekend, I will try to call each person who contacted me to make sure that I am sending out the right valve. Still making progress. Sorry its so slow but I don't expect payment until you receive them. Tim

                              Re: Fuel valves

Everyone who contacted me about getting a fuel valve, Please PM me your postal address and I will get them in the mail. I have enough handles for a few years worth of supply, but I need to get the valves that were requested mailed out to those who wanted them. Also please let me know if you need 1/4 or 3/8 npt threads or if you have an original 65 or the 85/100 fuel tank, both valves are good for the 85 conversion. I just want to make sure that I send the right valve out. Thanks everyone for your patience. Tim
