I have enough handles for 6 owner produced parts fuel valves, since I have not has anyone wanting one in months, this will probably be the last ones I will built handles for. PM me if interested, and Terry will have to be contacted about getting paperwork for approvals for those who want it for certified aircraft. Price will not change, I just need to recoupe my costs...Tim

    Re: Fuel valves

How much are you asking for these and what is the cost in getting the approval? Thanks!

      Re: Fuel valves

Just to resurrect this thread, and hope Tim still has valves available, these valves are great.

I finally got around to getting mine installed and it is so much better than the old valve. Even though mine was lapped it still wouldn't completely shut off the fuel and it was very difficult to actuate. I can now easily turn the valve on and off from the dash knob without reaching underneath.

Tim has done a wonderful job making the handle for the valve he provides. From talking to Tim I know there was a lot of work into producing the handle. It fits and functions just like the original valve utilizing the same rod, etc, for actuating it.
      Cheers,
      Marty

Still got fuel valves? Mine are both leaking. If yes, PM me and we can make a deal.

I am out of header tank valves, if people want me to build more, I need at least 10 people that want them so I can order the materials and get the handles punched and bent. Send me a PM if interested. Tim

I rebuilt mine and lapped them. They are working now, but I'm thinking in the near future I may need a couple.

I am currently in annual . What is the time frame from order to delivery?
I did send an email to Terry with no reply back so I was looking at other solutions
to finish up annual. Valve is just a bit of seaping depending on where the valve is turned.
If you can have one soon, I would speak for one.

It will take me a couple of months to get them stamped, brazed and plated....

The material is in stock, just waiting on an estimate of when they will have them punched out. Looks like I may have them in 2 weeks, then I can start brazing when they get here. Maybe this will happen faster than I thought. Tim

                        Re: Fuel valves

Are you selling these direct and what is the current price.
From the above discussions it sounds like these are a drop in replacement and have been given
                        a good recommendation.
Put me down for one and PM me when they are ready.

I am open to trades, I am building an o-200 and need a kidney tank and a vacuum pump drive, a perfect accessory case. light weight starter, I have most of the other parts...so that is an option too. Tim
