    Probably where one of Taylor's employees got them. ;-)

    And that probably isn't far from truth. An awful lot of the parts on our planes came from the local Dry Goods before the war.

          It boggles the mind. I try to picture a mechanic working on a T Craft 30-40 years ago that needed a rudder return spring. He would either have them from a prior purchase, or go to the local hardware store and buy 4 or 6 for about a buck a piece, (maybe less). It's no wonder so few people are flying, not to mention the stranglehold on gas prices by the monopolys! there's PLENTY of fuel in the world in fact there's a glut according to the markets but you'd never know it. I would think that over 50 percent of the T Crafts flying have hardware store rudder return springs. Best JC
