I was wondering if anyone would know what these are? They were in a misc parts box I have. Thanks for your help!

Re: Part Identification
Dale, when you attach the non-existent, made, of unobtanium, hubcaps you utilize a short screw threw the cap into the crown of that bolt.Cheers,

Re: Part Identification
The nuts aren't all that difficult to find, it is the hubcaps that are difficult to find. Someone else should be able to chime in here on the nuts.Cheers,
Marty

Re: Part Identification
From your description of the hubcaps I gathered they might be hard to come by! I might throw the nuts on ebay to see if there is any interest. Thanks Marty!

Re: Part Identification
These are the hubcaps to which Marty refers, and the screws which hold them on to the nuts in your photo.
The reason for the deep castellation in the nuts is so that they can be split-pinned to secure the wheel halves, still leaving enough thread inside the castellations to take the hubcap & screws.

Re: Part Identification
I think I will call the bank in the morning and see what the pay off is on the mortgage. If I got enough to pay that off, that would make me very happy! lol!

Dale one time I put a part on that I thought was useless before I scrapped it for about $5 or $10 starting and it turned out to be rare and sold for around $230!

These nuts will not do that, they are still fairly easy to come by. However if you had the original hubcaps, that might be a different story.Kevin Mays

Re: Part Identification
To be honest I'm just wanting to get a fair price for them. I have not found where they have been for sale or sold.
