Mr. Baker. My BC12 D was rebuilt by Al Zoltisch who lives very near you in Lancaster, N.Y. He flys out of Akron Airport. He is a MASTER craftsman. He won a trophy for the BC12 D he sold me at Sentimental Journey. In addition he taught high school shop (welding included) for many years near Buffalo. I have his number if you would care to get in touch. He is VERY knowledgeable. He is currently building an 0200 Cub and flys a trophy 180 HP Cherokee. Best, JC.
All good ones are gone; I keep one of each for duplication in the future; WE ahve the one that expands and goes into a press to make new ones.... Learn to weld thin aluminum and use a wheel and hammers and files... Come look any time ; the web site www.barberaircraft.com is up to date on Events and the Fly-In this year in Alliance Juky 11th thru 14th .... come anytime and pick out stuff...
I have a F22 nose bowl sitting in my garage complete with a few war wounds (Dents from a conflict with a hedge! ) which was part of an insurance write off I purchased. However the cost of shipping to the US would make any deal out of the question unless it could be shipped as part of another consignment?
Al Zoltisch is close by and although I don't know him, others around here do. I broke down and patched my nose cowl but I may try to have Al weld it up or keep searching for a new one until next fall. The plane will be back on floats in about 6 weeks so I didn't want to hold that up. Thanks for all the relpies.
