I did not believe so also. I had a reputable restoration shop located in Georgia swear up and down they did.

Are your sure they might be thinking DC? The DC-65 did not, but all L-2s are now listed as DCO-65 in the registry

Na. Yes I am aware of the L-2s vs DC-65 in fact built two wings for one L-2 once. We were specifically talking BC in fact I believe it was BC12. Good shop with good reputation. They just dont know everything and unfortunantly think they do.( That will be their undoing someday I suppose) As one gets into a specific Make of Old Aircraft the facts are mind boggeling. I know first hand. I have a pretty good knowledge of Taylorcrafts yet can still be open to learn everyday.(That would be my only fault with the Shops emphatic answer regarding "yes sir their are wood Ribs in the B series planes of 1940 or later" ) after I tried explaing that was "highly doubtful" and they need to check that fact further) ah well. Liv e and let live

Then I go and buy a Cessna 140 and oh boy start all over again just with that make and model !! Fortunantly they have a group like this one that is very knowledgable and have a ton of organization ...........
