Tom,
I was not sure the inside handles were the same on the fabric doored type because of the locking feature. I actually have never seen them and I have four doors.
Thanks,
Mike
Mike:
I have fabric doors and the door locks with a small tab into an open "L" shape piece welded to the vertical door post jam.It does not have a catch like the aluminum doors....at least thats what I have. A very simple mechanism. I'm out at this moment, but upon return I can send you some pictures if you want. Mid to late June....
Regards
Ralph
Help to know what type handles you are looking for. There are a bunch of different ones (inside and out). I have seen at least 7 different handles just on local planes! I need to start a photo file on handles like I did on control wheels. Seems like CG put on whatever parts he could get at the time!

I brought home a 41 and 46 inside ones as well as a 41 and 45 outside ones. I also have one of the tear drop car handles I modified for the 41 since I don't have two of those. I will take pictures and post them as soon as I find the @$#%&$#(&%) camera cable.

Mike,
I have seen that exterior handle on other 45s. The ones on mine are cast teardrop ones and I will try to get some pictures of them when I can get to the barn.
I got three types of original handles from the hangar and one of my home made ones I have on my 41 now. They work great and look right for the period, but are NOT original. If I can find another original I will replace them. The home made one is the picture with the key hole and it is nice to be able to lock the door.
In the two pictures of three handles the top one is an interior post war handle and the bottom one is an interior pre-war. The middle one is an original pre-war exterior handle from a 41. I have a feeling there were a LOT of different handles on different planes and the factory probably just bought what was available on the market for cars that worked in a Taylorcraft
