  • Throttle cable

On my taylorcraft, the throttle control resembles mor of a cesna's mixture control
it has a button and is stepped so that the outer most setting is 500 rpms, the next click brings it up to 1000 takes a little getting used to
but wondered was it stock or did someone modify it

Not stock and not acceptable really. Should have nothing that prevents throttle movement, just friction adjustment.

Cessna 206 cable from McFarland is a good fit and a quality cable. You'll need a 10-32 rod end, and a 1" spacer at the panel.
