  • Part drawings for plates, straps, attachments, etc

I've been looking through the many posts about various drawings without success looking for the various small steel parts that start out as a flat plate. I found some info about L2 models. I'm focused on BC-12 models as I have a future need to make many of those parts to fix a fuselage and gear legs.

    Thanks
    Brent

B models and L models have a lot of common parts. Also the Gilberti STC (later Harer and now owned by CERTIFIED AERONAUTICAL PRODUCTS, LLC) is another source of info in the flat plate wing mounting attachments, if that helps?

Robert, that's helpful and a good start. I was hoping on a pie in the sky someone may have already created the CAD/DXF files from factory drawings. If not I'll have to research the available factory layouts for correct references. Sounds like a nice research project!

Brent. if you want fo buy a copy of L2 manuals for reference you can get copies from this library if you subscribe. At least you could a while back. I haven't checked in a while.

Sadly, diimensioned factory drawings for the BC's, M15 & M20 are not supported. You will find assembly ISO sketches and refernces in the "manuals" which you can buy from Univair and eBay.

One of the very best resources is based on our fellow members, Scott's Grand Champion work of art. His restoration blog is a treasure.

        Rob's site as well.

Let us know how it goes on the project.
