That is a fair price if they are working OK.
"Upgrade" to Slicks? In my opinion Eisemann mags are far superior to Slicks, However, I know parts are becoming difficult but they are still better than slicks.
I flew behind Eisemanns AM-4s in my first BC-12D more than 500 hrs without problems from 1964 to 1969 or '70 when I sold it. In 1968 I bought a Stinson 108 with Eisemanns. I flew that Stinson for 44 years before converting it to a Lycoming O-360 in 2012. I put somewhere between 3500 and 4000 hours on my Stinson with the Franklin 150 and the Eismanns. Only problem I ever had with the Eisemanns was the condensor causing a problem when it heated up, but they never let me down, nor did the Franklin.
However, the non-shielded AM 4s with unshielded ignition in the BC-12D was the beginning of my now profound hearing loss from hours and hours of listening to the ignition noise on my old tinny headphones to keep the VHT-2 Narco tuned. to a VOR on loong cross countries, several trips from Indiana to Florida and return.

I'm a great fan of Eisemann mags; lots of Taylorcraft here in the UK fly with them.
I hope they went to a good home.
