  • Wanted: RH heel brake assy.

Hello, I am looking for a right hand/copilot heel brake assembly for my 1945 Taylorcraft BC12-D. Any help on how to track this down/source one would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time, Helina

Where are you? Your info says "YT". It that the Yukon?!?!? I have an uncovered 45 T with RH brakes from the factory (welded in) you could copy but I'm afraid it would be a bit of a trip from the Yukon to SE Virginia!

This is the BOLTED IN system, not what is in my plane as a prototype install. As I remember it matchd up to mine except mine is welded in.

Are you at Watson Lake? If so we met in the summer of 06 when I flew my prewar to Alaska. Tim
