Continental A-40

I guess I'll throw this out here first. I know it is a long shot, but I am looking for a Continental A-40 parts, complete engine, or leads for the same. This is for a Taylorcraft model A.

I saw one at Blakesburg Saturday they had one in there museum as a display, probably would not part with it but they have a very large hangar full of vintage airframes and engines , parts and pieces might be worth a phone call.

I know someone who had 2, one looked to be all there the other I think was missing some parts . He my still have them, I will ask him.

There was the J2 cub and a Porterfield with one on the flight line. There was the Rose Parakeet in the hangar, and the one in the museum. If there were any more I missed them.
