Here's some places to search or place a request:
Alaska's List: http://alaskaslist.com/1/posts/10_Tr...n/59_Aircraft/
Alaska Craigslist: https://geo.craigslist.org/iso/us/ak
Barnstormer's: https://www.barnstormers.com
Eddie Peck: https://peckaero.ca
There are other floats for Taylorcraft. EDO 1400, Baumann, Aqua, PK. Ask for floats to fit BCS12D.
Edit. May be out of date:

https://alaskaslist.com/1/posts/10_T...20_Floats.html Eddie Peck can help with Taylorcraft rigging but see below

It's winter here and snow plus cold can slow aircraft parts sales. But, if an ad is posted in the above statewide lists folks needing money can respond. By the end of March with 12 hrs of daylight and the pending IRS income tax season looming, sales of planes and parts start a seasonal increase. Things happen fast then so now's a good time to show interest and ask.

I check the usual classifieds daily, or more, but nothing has come up in a while. I have been checking barnstormers more often lately.
Alaskaslist has a bunch of old ads that the guys selling couldn’t remove. I’m not sure why people still use it, I sold something on it years ago (only because I couldn't list that certain thing on Craigslist) and dealing with that page was a pain. Craigslist or Facebook has been the easiest to deal with, buying or selling.
I’ve chatted with Eddie Peck a bit, but he can’t really help with a whole set-up. Definitely the person to talk to for parts or information.
Also, here shortly I’ll be out of the country for a while, so of course that’s when the good deals will pop up...

Those old EDO floats are rare and wearing out. Locally in Fairbanks I know of two sets of 1320's (mine is one) and one set of 1400's flying. There are likely others laying around in various conditions. Don't know about the rest of Alaska but would estimate there's fewer than 10 flying. They get damaged or corroded and it's not feasible to repair them unless Eddie Peck can help with parts. The also old planes that can use them are also either sitting awaiting work or not float equipped. Most pilots that fly floats seriously have moved up to larger planes. I suspect that other brands of newer floats are more available.
Edit: The 10 flying number above for EDO 1320/1400 is just a guess. I'm probably wrong and low and it might be twice that but I'd be surprised if it were much more.

The last set I saw sold locally went for $6,000 2-3 years ago to Eddie Ricter from here (first plane on the latest calendar). I bought a set of EDO 1400's in Wasilla for the same but they went with my PA-11 to the new owner T-Craft Tom. I gave a set of 1320's with J-3 rigging to my mechanic who's worked off about $6,000 in labor as payment. Likely spots for a source would be Florida, Minnesota, Michigan, and the New England area. Shipping from Alaska would be difficult unless a U-Haul truck could be sourced and they are available here.
