      Figure 3 in #15 suggests spacing on top of the tank for placing the adapter flange. From the front upper lip of the tank to the C/L of the flange opening 1 3/4" + 2 3/4" + 4 3/8" = ~ 8 7/8". Confirm that before cutting holes.

          Mine was calibrated when both level and three point. When level it reads "E" when there's about 3 gallons still available and also close to that in 3-point. That's ok as that quantity may not be useable in a steep climb.
