Lycoming engine mount

Looking for an unairworthy Lycoming engine mount that can be modified for mounting engine into a auto engine stand. O-145 B2 engine. Hoping to avoid building one entirely from scratch. I'm in SE Michigan NW Ohio, NE INdiana Tri state area hoping to avoid shipping costs if possible.

Astjp2, I don't believe they are anything but straight mount. I haven't separated engine from mount or airframe. There is a rubber presence above and below mounting area but no evidence of how it mates with engine or to engine mount. Seems basic, even crude without it being separated. I probably should have just asked if anyone had the dimensions of the holes on the engine. I didn't want to separate engine from mount with having a adapter to mount it to engine stand first and thought this might make the process easier. Otherwise it will make for additional handling which I was hoping to avoid.

So, what you need is the bolt hole pattern, or dimension's, of the fuselage mounting holes, then make a adapter plate out of 3/4 plywood or something to bolt the engine and mount to, then bolt the plate to your engine stand? I have a 39 fuselage I can get the measurement's off of latter today if you would like.

Do you not have one at all? If you use some all thread and washers, you can bolt the engine to adjust about anything and the cost is minimal. So the deals that others have gave you options for are also great. Let us know your progress. Tim

I want the engine hole pattern, not the one to the fuselage. I know I can't be accurate by taking dimensions off the engine while in place. It's the engine to engine mount dimensions I'm looking for. Or, in lieu of not having that, I am considering taking an un-airworthy engine mount which will already have the engine holes in correct positions for the engine to mount and adapting the un-airworthy engine mount to the engine stand. I think that will cut out a step and keep engine off the floor. It's not that big of a deal in a way but it will I think it will cut out errors in dimension measurements being transferred back and forth if one were to start and build an adapter for engine to engine stand. If I use the actual engine mount the backing plate of the engine stand becomes monstrous and centering it to the stand becomes especially tedious.
