Thanks for the link Gary. I've contacted the seller to see if he'll ship to the lower 48.

Good to hear they might get used.

It might be worthwhile to place an ad looking for them in the Anchorage Craigslist aviation section I linked or in Alaska's List: http://alaskaslist.com/1/posts/10_Tr...n/59_Aircraft/

I bet there's lots of them around Alaska as many have been changed out for Marvel carbs with an accelerator pump for cold weather ops.

A or C there's not many of those left around here. The lack of affordable hangar space or expense of maintenance/restoration for an aircraft that's limited in its ability to go off airport or water lane makes them impractical for most of the State. Anything left alone long enough succumbs to the climate. They were an inexpensive Pre and Post-WWII import that have been replaced by larger aircraft and engines.

We got the Stromberg deal taken care of and will get the $ to the seller in Soldotna AK. tomorrow. Rob sent me PayPal and I pay the seller. Worked out for everyone so far. Glad to help.

What size was it? If the small Stromberg NA-S2 I should have some along with the Marvel of the same size.
