  • Maybe selling out, huge Taylorcraft inventory

I think the time has come when I would rather fly than hoard all these parts so I am selling to buy a flying airplane. I am only going to keep enough stuff to build my grandfathers '41 "B" and sell the rest preferably in a lot. I really don't have time to piece it out or I would have already been doing it. Here is a quick rundown of what is available.

YO-57 project mostly complete less engine, prop, instruments, and struts, does include metal spar wings. I do have core 65's if you are interested.
probably 15 wings, prewar B, postwar B, L-2, and a pair metal spar wings for "B"
NOS short lower cowl, NOS nosebowl and NOS short spine
    L2M cowling rough
    open cowling
    enclosed cowling
    stabilizers and elevators all models
    ailerons all models
short on rudders and verticals but there are some here
stacks of wing ribs new and used and damaged
    engine baffles
    postwar deluxe fuselage
    instrument panels
    wheels
    brakes
    l2 gear
    b gear need work
    tail wires
    wing tanks
    doors prewar and postwar
    yokes
    seatslings
    DeLuxe specific parts
and I have shelves 40 ft long full of new and used parts. pretty much every little piece needed to build a taylorcraft is on those shelves.

I have NO struts. I have a stack of old struts, but I don't think any are good.

I am asking $25k for all of it including the YO-57 project. I will deal a little bit with a serious buyer. Like I said I am looking at buying an airplane to fly, don't need the cash to live. I have listed it here first instead of Barnstormers or anywhere else out of respect for the community. If your serious about buying the inventory, PM me and will talk.

    Mike,

I wish you luck. I know you helped me with a lot of little stuff in the past to make my L-2 right when I had her. I also hope you get to fly more and stick around here, you have been a big help to me and many others over the years.
    Cheers,
    Marty

Sure sounds reasonable to me Mike...wish I had the cash. Good luck to you!

I'm not going anywhere, just ready to scale down and enjoy life a little more.

Sounds like a good plan. If you were thinking of actually leaving, FERGET ABOUT IT! We would hunt you down and drag you back. ;-)
