Re: '41 Deluxe
Marvin Holck's 41 BL (out in Kansas).
High back seats look more comfortable than stock. Correct wood doors but the corners have been reenforced with triangular gussets (I hid carbon fiber under the skins to stiffen up the weak corners on mine....don't tell the Feds on me). Windshield has been replaced with a post war one (Common change) and a screen door handle has been added to the side of the cowl (??????). Looks like she is a "Deluxe" with one wing tank (18 Gallons total fuel) and looks like the big compass is gone (also common problem). Original throttle ball being used as a parking brake knob (strange, but easy to make right) and newer "Cessna" type throttle. STILL HAS ORIGINAL SHOCK MOUNT PANEL!!!!! Not only that but it still has the ASH TRAY!!!! REALLY rare! Banjo wheels and altimeter could be taken back to original fairly easy and she could look REALLY original.
Looks like a really nice plane for a good price if someone checks her out well. They ARE over 70 years old after all, but everything is easy to take back to original....or fly her as is for a great price.

Re: '41 Deluxe
AND both glove box doors with original nickel plated pulls... also quite a rare sight. Some sort of odd fairing at the base of the vertical fin, I don't ever recall seeing anything like that before... Original N# should be 33980 (the SN# before it is still registered and is N33979) and is available for registration, I would change it back if I had the money to buy it.NC36061 '41 BC12-65 "Deluxe" S/N 3028
