You probably have already looked them up, but looks like Wag Aero is selling 70 LY-36 and -38 wooden props for ~ $1979 today, and Sensenich has a metal one that might be right for ~$4005.00!! Are you on floats or wheels out there?
We need to get Jean françois to start a thread on the list showing his restoration. This is the plane I was looking at, but I could have never done the job he did on it. A true world class restoration. I am pretty sure he is looking for something to match what was original on the plane.

If you go new wood Sensenich don't go with the 38 pitch. I would go with the 36, and think real hard about the 34. I went through prop issues when I restored my BL-65. After many back and forths with Sensenich they built me a 70x36 to minimum specifications, and it worked fairly well. This number came about after sending them an old 70x38 that I had tried, they measured and said it was closer to a 70x34.
Thank you for this invaluable information
With do 70 X 36 which speed you obtain?
Hank is right, I will like to have a propeller with the "vintage look"

If I remember correctly I would see around 90. The limiting factor is airplane balance and the fact that you will run out of trim authority. With the 70x38 that I tried first, the engine would not turn up to rated RPM and the performance of the airplane was not good. I don't remember it making a big difference in speed.
