Starboard or Port? Flipper or tab trim? Where are you? The shipping could be more than the stab!

    Hank

    Yes, I have some.

        Hank,
Flipper kind, so no trim in the stabilizer. Left or right are the same.59"x28" should be no issue for UPS. Here is a picture of my good one.

Left or right is the same uncovered. You can make a box out of 1/4" luan and 1x2"s I think it would be able to go USPS or UPS, but you might also check by bus. It's funny if I type in the name Greyh**nd I get a picture of a ho*nd

I have a pile of stabs at the airport (funny how they don't seem to get damaged in accidents, maybe we should mount the seats to them). I will go through them next time out and see if I can dig out a three hinge.

Hank was nice enough to go through is inventory and look for a three hinge stab for me, unfortunatly no luck. He had no three hinge stab. So the search continues. Please let me kow if anyone has one or where I could locate one. Thanks again Hank for your time.

                  Jerry,

Here's one on ebay, but his shipping is three times the asking price of the stabilizer. He's got an elevator too...maybe you can contact him and work out some alternative shipping arrangements.

You might consider cardboard. When I shipped a metal prop UPS my A&P told me to wrap it in cardboard instead of making a wooden box. Turns out UPS adds a big surcharge for wood boxes. Go figure.

                      Thanks Dave
I just called them and bought both stab and elevator with an adjusted shipping rate that is more in live with reality. Shipping today and I should get them mid next week Fed Ex Ground.
                      Thanks everyone for the help!!!
