I hope this isn't a double post. What's the best wood prop size for a C-85 in an L2-B? I'm more interested in climb performance than cruise. The Sensenich chart does not address this combination.

Re: L2-B wood prop size
Pete. I had a good experience with East Coast propeller. Randy is the Manager. I had a sensich wooden prop on my BC12D 65hp. I traded it on a METAL McCauley. It made a difference, the McCauley METAL being more efficient. You might call him and discuss the pro's and con's. of wood and metal. (I also had a new metal McCauley on my 85hp Champ, A climb prop. It worked very well.) East Coast sells both and ships anywhere. They are near Lancaster, Penna. Good Luck, JC

Re: L2-B wood prop size
I have a W72GK44 on my C85 Vagabond. Good climb prop
and 95 mph cruise @ 2350 rpms. I can over run redline in cruise
by about 50-100 rpm so I don't think I could go more climb
than this. Stock C-85, not a Stroker. ( I wish).
