Is it safe? Is it legal? If so, is there anything I need to know?

This has been covered quite a bit. Use the search function for details but basically you can remove the pilot's door for photo work, there are limitations. And an STC that must be obtained. You will read where some have removed both doors with no problem. Empty out the baggage sling or it will empty itself of papers, etc.Cheers,
Marty

I just look at the new posts, must have missed the category. Thanks Tom. (Never heard of anyone flying without the door on an L-2, hmmmm). I guess if it is an M-model just pull the red ball and it is gone!Cheers,
Marty
