          Mike,

That looks a lot simpler than what I observed in a YouTube video. Drawings, by chance???
          Cheers,

No, but I could probably make some. I built it as I went using the "B" model tool as a guide

              Mike,

There are several people who could use them, including my friend with a local L-2M.
              Cheers,
              Marty

                Mike,

What would you need to get one going? I'm a go-between with my friend based at our airport with the L-2M.
                Cheers,
                Marty

Re: L-2 Bungees and Tool Revisited

Time right now. I am trying to sell our Beechcraft inventory and currently loading over a 1000 specific part number into excel along with a pic log. Its been time consuming to say the least. There is another guy interested as well. I promise I will make some drawings as soon as I can.

Just had the bungees replaced on my DC-65 by Calaveras Airplane Company located at CPU airport in Central California. My IA visited some You Tube videos and then built a jig that worked great.

Damn. I wouldn't want to be standing there when that cable breaks!

I built something like that in 1969 for my L2. I used an old car ratcheting bumper jack. Bolted the strut to bottom of jack and streached bungy as in video. Flipped strut over and slipped bungee on strut. Worked easily.
