  • Bushings

I noticed this last annual I have a bit of slop in one elevator hinge and one landing gear mount. I have Rob Lees info on bushing removal tools in hand. As a source, I believe I found Univair to list the bushings. Has anyone had luck with them? Any other source, besides making them? That will be a last resort for me. Thanks!
    Cheers,
    Marty

    Re: Bushings

I've seen identical bushings at the local hardware store. for the elevator they are 5/16" OD, 1/4" ID, and 3/4" long. This is just so you can see what the new part should look like.

I think the last landing gear bushings we got from Wag Aero.

        Re: Bushings

I've found mine locally at a industrial bearing shop. They didn't stock them but ordered them and I had them within a week.

For cold weather fans, is anyone needing a very nice set of Federal 1500 skis? These are "one family owner" skis, my dad and me. Excellent shape. $500 plus shipping from Cedar Rapids, Ia.

We get snow quite often...perhaps not enough for skis, but about every 5 years or so there is enough.
