Float attach help

Looking for some help & advice on finding plane centreline to set for maximum lift on floats.
I know some of you float guys can help me find the optimum angle, or at least get close. Does the Ts wings need to be set at more angle than say a Cub wing?
If so what angle are you useing?
& the best question..is there an easy way to measure to find the correct angle
With he floats level I set the tail horizontal at neg 6* & it looks close but looks can be very decieveing since most float plane are sitting in the water with both floats & plane in a tail down position.

I don't know if anyone has ever put a B model on floats so you may have trouble getting an answer in this thread. It is a common misconception that "B Model" refers to the BC, BF, BL series of side by side planes. The B models were actually tandem planes that became the "L" birds used by the military. Great planes, but not what you have.
This is a common misconception in the Tribe and you might want to post the question again in another section so you can get an answer. I CAN tell you that level (zero * angle) is measured on the horizontal stab. I am in the process of building a fixture to measure the actual wing incidence angle now. The manuals all measure the angle based on the bottom of the airfoil of the wing, which is fine for rigging the plane, bit does NOT tell you the incidence angle. Should have some numbers in a couple of weeks.

Here at PK Floats the deck angle of the floats on a small plane like the Husky and Scout is -3.5 degrees with the plane level. To me -6 degrees seems like a lot. I wish I could tell you what the best angle on the T-craft would be, as I will be installing my own floats soon.

Mea culpa guys. I was the one in the wrong section. I thought he had posted in the "D" bird section when he was in the "B" area. I was just afraid he was asking the tandem guys how to set up floats and wouldn't ever get an answer there. HE is actually the one in the right section.
Wish I knew about float set up, but I have never flown off water or snow (or with Tundra tires for that matter). I know I have been having some interesting conversations with someone who IS flying with giant tires and I hope some future testing may answer some neat landing angle questions about big tires up front. His plane seems to be at a PERFECT landing angle with the tire set up he has and I want to measure it and see what the numbers say.

Yes I believe your right.
From what I've been able to find out 4* is supposed to be about right with flaps.
I'm wondering if being flapless would increase the angle .....or not
Then there's the question of whether the wing profile requires more angle....or not.
I would have thought there's be more guys on here "in the know"
