Tom Baker's Award Winning Taylorcraft for sale on Ebay

I just noted the Taylorcraft that Tom Baker and his dad restored many years ago is now up for sale on Ebay. Last time I saw it was on Barnstormers maybe about a year ago.

This aircraft spent most of its time in central Illinois and both of my parents have logbook time in this plane in the mid 1940's at a former airport that is now about one-half mile away from my home.

Now, if I could figure out how to afford this one and the one I just bought. Oh well.......

If I would of had the money I would have bought it when it was on Ebay the last time. The people who have it now want to much money for it.

On a side note it would be a good airplane for the John Glenn thing they are trying to put together.

What a great idea! If the owners would bring it for the Glenn shindig they would get some free advertising too. Everybody wins!
