We have a BC12D with a large plywood baggage area. Bottom is 1/4" ply. Sides, front and back are 1/16" ply. Battery is mounted on the floor at extreme rear of the bag floor, centered. Is this original ? does anyone have a photo of anything like this? Any help much appreciated. Larry Huntley

Re: wood baggage
Seen them several times, but never as an original part. Every picture I have seen was of a canvas sling. The best setup I saw was a box that the owner put IN the sling to hold it square. Kept the canvas clean and was easy to put in and remove. Not as big as yours but looked really nice when he came in and pulled the box to show the plane. Seems like he even had a lid on the box so he could cover anything like headsets in the box. I think the box was painted, stiff cardboard. Keeps the honest people away from temptation. The dishonest ones there is no protection from anyway.
When I got my baggage sling the factory didn't have them and a tent maker made mine. Can't tell it from original and was a LOT less money than they are selling for now.
