Hello Taylorcrafters,
I am working on a B model that has a two part metal rear window frame that is constructed like an embroidery hoop. Does the outer hoop get put in and fabriced ,then the inner after? If this is the case can the "glass" be slipped down in back of the tubes later?I also have large plywood side panels for the inside.
I haven't been able to find one quite like it locally. I have the Univair manuals and the Tcraft parts manual, none of which have been much help.
I didn't dismantle this bird and have not worked on a Taylorcraft before. All I have is a big pile of parts and some scraps of fabric, but not much of the fabric. Any help or pics would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks in advance, Larry
