    The attached pic shows the left side of the C85 Case, with the "Transfer Plate" noted.

    Once the Transfer Plate is removed, two holes in the Case are exposed. Oil can then be squirted into the top of the two holes which then goes directly to the Oil Pump.

    Trust this info is useful !

              Yes, mine doesn't have the transfer pad either. So far I have had pretty good luck with lifting the tail, but she has been parked for a long time while I flew the 172. I want to get back to flying the FUN plane!
