generator was mounted on the gear strut on L-2's. If you want to mount it to the strut, you will more than likely have to make it due to all the different sizes of streamline tubing that has been used over the years.
Oldbits you should put your name, your company name, and phone number in your signature line. You see that bit of fluff at the bottom here? It shows in all my posts. Larry

Hey! I resemble that remark!
For the record, rammon3 is short for Roscoe Ammon 3. Not that silly, but I do have a silly walk I learned at "The Ministry of Silly Walks".

Took me a while to figure out Tom Peters (mohawktipi) till I found out he used to fly Mohawks! I guess he flew them after drinking (after seeing some of the Mohawk missions in Nam I sure wouldn't have gone sober!)

pretty certain oldbits in Doug Combs or someone that works for him. It would be nice if the person would post something other than advertising in every thread that has been responded too.
Tom,
First time I saw a Mohawk I thought I was drunk. Looked like the engines and tail from an E-2 grafted onto the cockpit of an A-6. Combining two of the ugliest airplanes ever built into a new one that makes the enemy want to laugh (till it starts it's run and you realize it may be the last funny thing you ever see).
Turned out to be a great, but very underutilized, airplane. Hey, they look GREAT from inside the cockpit!
