  • Taylorcraft Historical movie/book discussion (was Items posted here by me)

I hope you all enjoy seeing these old advertisements.

I am going to put what I have here first for display for awhile, and then move them over to the web gallery site when we get it working for Perm. storage and display.

If you want to add your own here; make them in jpg format, less than 128KB in size (64KB is prefered).

    72dpi resolution

    5x7 is a good size.

Medium compression if you have the option.

Forrest, I don't bother logging out, this only becomes an issue if others can use your computer (such as in a library or university or other public place).

When you next connect to the vb, it recognises who you are, and of course you can then hit the "view new posts" button to see what's been said since you were last on.

Re: Items posted here by me

Well... Forrest Barber and all T-crafters, Good to see you are still out there. I'm still working on developing the documentary and mini-series script about C.G. Taylor and Taylorcraft. I'm still looking for any old photos, anyone, especially "old timers" who might like to do an interview on camera.
I would like to shoot some scenes around Alliance, at the old factory and at Barber Airport. I would like to get some WWII T-craft at Barber Airport, military uniforms, etc.
Forrest, what about that old factory photo ? I wonder if it is possible to shoot those scenes at the Taylorcraft Fly-IN ? I'm just thinking out loud about possibilities.
I have been ill and dealing with family illness, so I'm behind schedule. I'm still working on a plan to get over to England for the British side of the story. I hope to get up to Oshkosh in July.
Forrest... any and all assistance you and the T-crafters can provide is greatly appreciated as usual.

Re: Items posted here by me

I always enjoy seeing anything related to the history of Taylorcraft! And, an update to all you T-crafters. A re-write of a mini-seires about C. G. Taylor and Taylorcraft is currently underway.
I'm looking for a Taylorcraft project... even a basket case for myself.
Another project in development is a screenplay and a theatre production about the WASP during World War II. I'm looking for L-2 Taylorcraft, and drawings/plans to build one. Some WASP did training and/or flew L-2s. And, I'm looking for a C-3 Link Trainer (Blue Box), or drawings/plans of one. If I can't locate one, I need to build a replica of the Trainer.

                  Happy 2007!

Any asistance or suggestions you have are greatly appreciated...
