Re: BC4gwkto
I think a definition of "blueprint" may be in order here. The Essco Manual I saw many years ago did not contain what I would call a blueprint. Unless they have changed them since then, what I saw had no measurements and were not very detailed.Richard Pearson

Re: BC4gwkto
I have a few fuselage factory drawings, definitely not all. Do you know what year your fuselage is? Not the year of the plane, the year of the fuselage. Should be the same if your stamped SN on the fuselage is within a few numbers of the paperwork number(a lot of fuselages on the line evidently got mixed up, but the number should be at least close). A LOT of planes have the wrong year fuselage frame and it really screws things up when you try to put parts on, ESPECIALLY doors and pitch trim parts!

Re: BC4gwkto
Serial number 9105 "should" be a 1946 Taylorcraft. The serial number should be stamped into the back side of the sub panel mount piece . This is the metal plate with the holes in it for the throttle, mixture, cabin heat.......knobs. There could also be a serial number stamped into the pilots side upper door hinge but some planes did not have this one. The problem comes when there has been damage and someone uses a replacement fuselage frame instead of repairing the damaged one. With a 46 you should be lucky. There are a lot of 46 fuselages and if yours was badly damaged another 46 frame would probably have been available.
