Re: N96044
Welcome to the Tribe Gene.
FWIW, some other Texas Taylorcrafts are located in Laporte, Georgetown, San Marcos, Moody, Castroville, Bulverde, Spring, Greater Dallas area, Victoria. I probably missed a few.
Ask the tribe any question at all... somebody knows the answer. Get a copy of Chet Peek's book on Taylorcraft. Get Essco reprints on parts and service manual. Post photos of your plane!Best Regards,
Mark Julicher

Re: N96044
Welcome to the group Gene,
I just moved to Texas a couple years ago and brought my Taylorcraft home last October. Many great folks and lots of Tcraft info here and in Texas! Looking forward to getting our sister ships together someday (N96043)? I am based out of Sport flyers (27XS) just west of Houston.

Re: N96044
Hello Gene, and welcome!
My BC12D was based in Oak Grove, Fort Worth, TX and then Keller, TX and then in Justin, TX before it was imported to the UK in 1989. I've been it's custodian since.
Feel free to ask what you need to know. We don't bite, and there is a wealth of information here, be it piloting or maintenance or rebuild or repair, so please ask away!
Rob
