  • BC12D N34246 and BC12D/F19 N95791

N95791 is based at KARA in New Iberia, LA. N34246 is disassembled. Both are 1946 models.
I recently purchased N95791, it has been upgraded to an F19 configuration with a C85, starter and alternator and a VHF radio and transponder.

I did the model 19 conversion on that airplane. It's probably the lowest time Tcraft around. At the time I did the conversion it had less than 500TT on the airframe.

Great looking plane and neither of yours were in the database! Two more Taylorcrafts found. Looks like some fun times ahead!

That one was mostly restored by Ken Culler, who worked for Taylorcraft in the 40's. My best friend bought it from Ken, for his son. We went down to Boulder City and finished it up, annualed it and flew it home. I started the conversion as well as exhaust, B&C alternator and starter, for his son, and they were scheduled to come pick it up, but a couple days before they headed down, Mark got in a car wreck and was killed, and the mother wouldn't hear of the son getting the airplane. The airplane sat in my hangar for a long time, and was bought by a guy in Texas, who's name slips my mind right now, but he was a member here. I'm glad to see it's still flying!!!!
