The Taylorcraft Factory is still located in Brownsville, but the phone and fax numbers have changed due to new ownership. Harry Ingram is no longer associated with the Taylorcraft factory.

The Taylorcraft factory website has been updated to reflect the new contact details.

Just a hunch, but I'd bet you'll have a long, uphill battle convincing alot of people of that..... time will tell. There's alot of hurt feelings, distrust, and very angry people as a result of the past and how things have been handled. Good luck,

There has been no credible information showing that the new ownership of Taylorcraft is any different than the old ownership.

Mr. Patrick and Mr. Ingram apparently have been associated with each other on some level for quite some time.

Mr. Patrick's previous support of Mr. Ingram, Mr. Patrick's refusal to honor the paid orders for parts, Mr. Patrick's lack of any substantive action to conduct legitimate business in the aftermath of Mr. Ingram's fraudulent practices, and Mr. Patrick's re-shuffling Mr. Ingram's position at Taylorcraft in an attempt to create the ILLUSION that Ingram was no longer involved... speaks for itself.

ANY business entity involving ANY of the previous Ingram/Patrick era names is in my opinion completely suspect. Saying that Ingram is no longer involved, and then a week later announcing that Taylorcraft has hired Ingram as a consultant... or simply having him involved quietly in the background... is in my opinion 100% consistent with the recent behavior of the "new" and "old" management involving Harvey Patrick.

When I was there... Mike Rice was Harry's biggest defender and cheerleader!... In my humble opinion, Mike Rice has assisted, aided and abetted ole Harry since day one, and has about the same credibility as Harry... Mike and Harry, two peas in a pod!... those are the FACTS as I see them!, Bob

Mr. Rice, perhaps you could update the Taylorcraft website with an explanation of how the wing struts that were bought and paid for by certain customers were not shipped to them, and are now being offered for sale to other customers.

Perhaps now would be a good time for Mr. Patrick to explain how the Taylorcraft organization can show wing struts for sale on the website, and not have a PMA to do so. If these struts were manufactured under Harry Ingram's (claimed) PMA, then they are certainly the very same struts as Harry Ingram SOLD to customers, took payment for, and did not ship them. The paying customers own these struts, not Harvey Patrick or Taylorcraft.

Could you please update the website with a clear statement explaining that Taylorcraft offering to sell goods to one party that were bought and paid for by another party, and are thus owned by that other party, is legal? I think that the people who deal with interstate commerce and wire fraud would like to see this explanation as well.

Well , here I am again. I went into sensory over load and just stayed off the forumn for over a week. I had a lot of fun, flying, mowing, eating ribs going to fly-ins and took on two new students, one in a J-4 and the other in a Warrior, funny thing , lots of metal and the tail wheel up front.
Did three annuals, worked with my new 6mm fiber optic bore scope with 90 degree mirror. Started work to AMOC sealed struts from the old ones.

THEN back on Friday, Scot Ruffner called me to give us a heads up that at last the Type Certificates held by Taylorcraft Aviation LLC ( Harry Ingram) had been approved for transfer ( or transferred) back to the previous holder Taylorcraft 2000 LLC , ( Harvey Patrick).
All PMA's associated with the Taylorcraft Aviation LLC would not transfer to my knowledge but could be approved again with FAA approvals.

He asked me to release this to the Taylorcraft Foundation membership. I saw the change to THEIR web site, I did not get a postcard about anything. I had not talked with Steve Cooner, Scot or Mr. Patrick for about two weeks.
The last conversation had been with Scot about the letter to the membership , he was upset about the "Lies" in the letter and started to elaborate on them, I was on a mission at the time and had to cut him off.
I agree with the comments on this thread, THEY have a long way to go to establish credibility again. Time will tell as usual. They do not seem to understand that this membership can mean a lot , they seem to be looking to far into the future with new re designs , new ideas, Light Sport, etc..

If he is referring to either of the sample letters I had authored, or the discussions I had started about our group sending out a letter, I challenge anyone and everyone at the Taylorcraft organization (Harvey, Harry, Scot, or Mike) to discuss it openly here in front of everyone.

They could start by simply giving their side of the story and explaining which "lies" they take exception to and why.

I, for one would LOVE for Taylorcraft to openly discuss the issues here. I think I have a long history of open-mindedness (different from holes in my head) and if they could show why I should, I would become one of their strongest supporters once again. Silence speaks volumes. I GAVE my trust and support several times. Now you have to EARN it.
If there are legal issues with discussing in an open forum, contact me directly. I really DO want to see Taylorcraft succeed. For now, I don't trust them.

Well for what it is worth, and I think this speaks loudly about what is happening as I write down at the factory. Yes they have the message, and
are starting to try at least to turn things arround.

Saturday, 5/24/08, while in Denver, I got a cell phone message from Scot Rufner, relaying shipping numbers, and date for my parts, and he indicated that my "STRUTS AND THE SK100 KIT" had been shipped on Friday 5/23/08
and would be in Alva, Ok on 5/28/08. Also with this message was a lengthly
explaination of the situation, going forward. He said pretty much what is on the factory web site at this time, but generally said that Taylorcraft 2000 LLC
and D & E had separated from Harry, was in the process of re-establishing all paperwork such as T/C and PMA's ect. and hoped that I would give the a them a fair opportunity going forward to re-establish creditablity, it was their goal to keep the Taylorcrafts flying and to supply parts and support in the future.

I received the parts as notified on Wednesday 5/28/08, they were packed as represented in a heavy 6 inch PVC pipe, and also with a box for the jury struts and hardware. All unpacked, and is of quality, all parts are there, they are "NEW" and as originally represented.

Needless to say, I'm and was speechless on Saturday, I really never though that I would see these. It has been 8 very painful and frustrating months, but, walaaaa, here they are. I really feel that the forum, foundation, and the coalition of members and owners had alot of input to changing Taylorcraft 2000 LLC's view of the current activities and damages that Harry did in the past. And I have to say, that I think they are now sincere in trying to set it right.

I know your pain on that one but how on earth do you think they could afford to do that and why are they responsible. Let's say for example that you went all over town writing bad check. That would be like making the bank pay up on all those bad checks while you get off completely free, just because they let you have an account there. So why should the bank be held responsible for a crooks actions?

I think it is more like someone going all over town and collecting the bad checks up, then taking them to another business and trying to cash them.
If they took the assets back with the company that were already sold, then sell them again, they are selling stolen goods. A bank just processes your checks, they don't use their money, they use yours. The parts don't belong to Harvey, they belong to the people Harry sold them to. If Harvey bought them, then he bought stolen (undelivered) goods, and he is morally responsible for making sure they go to the people who paid for them. Just because he has them, doesn't make them his.
