Hope he comes out of it ok. One of my very best memories is sitting back in a lawn chair, at OSH, listening to him in the "theater in the woods" one night. I've always enjoyed his writing.

It's a great story. I'm not very religious myself, but I do like his writings.
One of the best things that came out of Jonathan Livingston Seagull was the 1973 album of the same name by Neil Diamond ; very influential in my formative musical years (those years sadly not used any more).
Here's wishing him the best for a full recovery. I can see why he likes the Searey.
