Two Extra aircraft had a violent mid-air collision as seen in this graphic video footage. Both planes plummeted to the ground, narrowly missing an old peoples home, a Church, two schools, and a sanctuary for lovable fluffy animals.
"I heard this bang and looked up to see a dreadful sight", said eyewitness Girdya Loins. "Bits of aircraft rained down for ever!"
Fortunately, both pilots survived, but the bloke in the orange shirt suffered what medics described as "one heck of a black eye"
