Saw this on an AIM website regarding a WWI replica project they're building:
"The FAA will be here tomorrow. They are looking for volunteers for a new saftey program that will help identify unsafe aircraft and operators. Im not sure how successful this new program will be due to the fact that you might be required to work long hours. But we’re up for entertaining the idea."
So now we will have armies of techstudents reporting to the FAA if they think something or someone is unsafe? I wonder what this means, except we will probably be put in a position where we can't talk to anybody, show them our planes or offer rides. So much for promoting aviation. It seems like the skies will soon be safe for all...when we're no longer allowed in them.
