New job

I am finally out from under the flight path of that runway at Charlotte Douglas airport.
Seems that I came down with a breathing problem that they still haven't figured out (but allergy related I think) and spent a week in the hosp. and after 4 days the boss on that job told my boss "I want him off the job, I don't want to play games any more), which basically got me fired/ laid off-that my boss called me up in the hospital and told me while I was striving to breathe. While I worked for another company he always said I worked for him and took offense that I did not report to him-go figure.
I should really call his ass up and thank him as I received a $5 per hour raise on this job on the other hand it would give me more pleasure to sneak into the jobsite and pull the lugnuts off of his 4wheeler and watch what happens

If you allergy clears up after you are no longer on that job it would seem obvious that something they were exposing you to was causing your problem. If that is true and they fired you instead of providing a reasonable accommodation to your allergy you probably have a really good case for a law suit.
I am VERY MUCH against law suits, but if they were the CAUSE of your illness and their solution was to simply fire YOU that would seem to be a darned good cause for suing their pants off. If you Doctors suddenly find you healthy after you aren't exposed to the job site anymore you might need to talk to a good lawyer.

It will give you a LOT better feeling than seeing his 4x4 on it's frame!

We were subcontractors on that job and my boss did what the gc asked and in the process has also saved his ass, he never once said anything about me being fired or laid off-he also never replied to the NC unemployment insurance he just let it go and start up without a reply, they did offer me a 10 day night job but I had already taken this job.
On a side note about this company, I was the very 1st crane operator hired by them, they just rented the cranes out bare before this. For 2 years in a row I was the only employee that did not receive a Christmas bonus, the other 15 people did.
