Lets say the C85 was good. With the cost of a tear down and check. How much do you think it would be worth? Plus if a person was close enough to go pick it up to avoid shipping cost. Plus figure making a "couple bucks" on the sale of a few low value parts. I'm just curious.

I will keep an eye on what it sell sells for. Right now it is up to $2750.

Just looked at the auction 1day and a few hrs left 36 bids and 10 bidders the last two have bid multiple times still at 2750 my guess is close to 4500 witch is close to what core c85 will bring the prop is worth about 1000, 3000 scott tail wheel 100 it looled like cleveland wheels and brakes 300/500 and the rest of the plane 2000. 4500 for plane sell off all the rest clear maybe 4000 put it back in engine end up with c85 for 500 NOW shipping port townsand to me in Tn 2000 mi +/- at $2.00 mi 4000 dollers now you are in the hole 4500or to make this werth wile you need to be with in 500 mi of it

It is always the shipping that seems to be "the deal breaker"! Thank you for your input!

The person that bought it most likely lives real close.

Yes, without this group I would of NEVER of purchased a project and try to restore it. This is like going to "Taylorcraft College" and this is my freshman year! So far I have not endured any hazing! : )
